He previously led Ultra Electronics, Electronic Warfare Business in Canada.&nbsp; Other senior roles have included President at M2 Consulting, Vice President Electronic Systems at Allen Vanguard and Vice President of Strategy at Med-Eng Systems.&nbsp; Prior to entering the Defence and Aerospace Private Sector, Andrew had a full 20+ year operational career in the British Army in Signals Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, Counter Terrorism and Counter IED<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"background-color:#273886;color:#273886\"\/>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Having recently been awarded the coveted King\u2019s Award for Enterprise, The British Engineering Association Award and the Royal Aeronautical Society Award, all for innovation;&nbsp; I have been asked \u201cwhy do we win at innovation?\u201d The answer isn\u2019t simple and it doesn\u2019t happen by accident.&nbsp; Put succinctly, it is all about our people and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-67eafd044103e1eff672d19fe1405078\" style=\"color:#000000a1\"><em>At Smith Myers innovation isn&#8217;t just a buzzword. Our flat organizational structure and lack of a blame culture encourage free thinking, experimentation and enjoyment.
